Middle School Experience
Daily Life
At Paul, we don’t “check boxes” or tell our students to do things the same way. Instead, our classrooms are set up to ask “I wonder?” While we have specific outcomes in mind, we support adolescent creativity—such as craft projects, single-sex mentorship circles through Paul’s Pearls and My Brother’s Keeper, and exciting clubs like E-Sports, American Sign Language, and flag football. We craft our curriculum in a way that allows middle schoolers to explore what is on their minds while also mastering important academic concepts.
Scholars begin their day by indulging in a free grab & go breakfast beginning at 7:45 am. As the day progresses, students transition through classes as a group and have dedicated lunch times by grade. Lunch provides an opportunity for the students to connect and recharge before heading into the second half of the day. The school day concludes with dismissal at 3:40 pm with each floor getting dismissed one at a time.
Uniforms
At Paul, we believe that wearing uniforms minimizes distractions, allowing students to focus on learning and personal growth. Students are required to be in the below uniforms every day, including virtual Fridays:
